The breakfast was surprisingly very good. I would not have chosen this type of breakfast but found it actually very good. To clarify, the breakfast was a serve yourself opposite the front desk of coffee, fruit, muffins, etc. Great for a breakfast on the move, which I saw people doing. Our room was close enough to pick up and take back to our room which suited us perfectly. The pub next door was excellent for food. We may have been deceived but it felt it was cooked by a proper chef.

The beds were the comfiest we’ve had in a hotel for a while! We came for an event on the Saturday night then rebooked last minute for Sunday night. Both rooms were exactly the same. Very clean with everything you need for a short stay. Plenty of coffee/sugar left in the room with more facilities downstairs in reception. Free parking was also a bonus! We spoke to a couple of members of staff over our stay, who were all very friendly and helpful. Will definitely be rebooking :)

The young lady on reception at check in and the young guy at check out were just lovely - honestly a real credit to the hotel and SO welcoming.. that goes a long way when arriving somewhere new - and not stayed before The rooms were fab. Comfy bed, nice bath, size of room great and QUIET despite being right next to M62 - fab window insulation. Felt very premier inn but much better value. Clean tidy corridors. A great find and thank you.

We were attending a wedding closeby and wanted somewhere affordable to stay. The venue was perfect. We paid £55.00 for a Thursday night which was great. Usual check in is at 3pm but we called when on our way to the wedding venue and they allowed us an early check in at 12.30 which was perfect. Reception staff was excellent and very friendly. The bed was extremely comfortable, best sleep for ages.

The bedroom was really, really nice. The bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom was literally perfect. The TV was great, and the ports on the wall for HDMI were very useful. The room was very warm, comfortable and relaxing.
